how long does the medication stay in the water?

anyone know? tank got ICH was going to transfer my corals to a QT, treat my DT with ICH X, wait 48 hours, dip all my corals and put them back in

ICH X is medication

oh and all my fish died unfortunately, learned my lesson about the importance of a QT lol

If you want to eradicate ich and have no fish left then just run your tank fallow for 76 days. That will be the only true way to clear your display tank. Ich X is more of a management tool rather than a cure. There is no need to dip your coral as it can stay in the DT along with inverts.

Without a fish to host the ich will die on its own, no medications needed. 100% die off sounds more like velvet than ich, but either way 76 days fishless will do the trick!
