how long for chemipure elite to work?

I have some high phosphates and have used my previous CPE for about 2 months now... I just replaced it with a new bag... how long should i wait before i retest phosphates again? I'm just curious to know what measurable effect CPE has on my tank. I also don't want to test to early and waste a reagant pack for my hanna phosphate, because these things aren't cheap lol.

Get some pure GFO and a fine mesh bag and throw it in there in place of the chemipure.
That'll take care of your issues and cheaper than the chemipure

24 h is enough for a test, and if flow through it is good and phosphate is still very high, it may be depleted that fast.
