How long for coral to open

Iv put 1st few corals in tank today and the tracky looks good and fat but the elegance coral is only open in places and have noticed like a clear snot like mucus on places on elegance coral,. Is this normal?

give them time about a day or two they will be nice and happy

Thanks is getting better than was
