I have/had a royal gramma that’s been missing for 5-7 days now. Tank is going fallow so all fish were removed today. All rocks were taken out to get the fish. I searched all the rock using a flashlight while they were out of the tank to get to every nook and cranny. Also went through the entire sand bed (had to find the wrasse anyway). Nothing found at all. Not even a skeleton. Checked the overflow and took the sump apart. Nothing.
Could the CUC completely devour a fish in that short a time span???

5 days is more than enoug for a few snails and hermits.
I had damsel Gone in 3 days to the level of nothing left and that was only 2 snails an 3 hermit crabs. The fish will help too.
If it is missing more than likely it is gone completely

I loved that fish, but that is what I’m hoping at that point. Would hate to find it at this point in a few weeks when I’m half done with the fallow period. It will be the first fish I buy again when I’m ready.
