I have a Gold Striped Maroon that I got a couple weeks shy of two years ago. I believe wild caught. It was a fairly large juvenile at the time. She has grown quite a bit and turned dark maroon but the stripes only slightly show yellow. Still mostly white.
75g and has several RBTA which host it. I feed frozen food (Larry's, black worms, clams) nearly daily.
What is the progression and timeline of the stripes turning gold? From what I've read it should have happened by now?
