So I put a few new fish in my tank about 2 weeks ago. I have yet to see the Green Clown Goby. I know he is tiny, and there is a chance he is in there somewhere, but I'm starting to lose hope. I saw him the day he went in, and that was it. Other tank mates are blue Chromis, red head Solon wrasse, yellow wrasse, yellow tang, mccoskers wrasse and an algae blenny. So no strong attack and kill suspects. Also tank is a 90.

Don't lose hope yet! I bought one about 6 mths ago and he stayed hidden the first 2 mths. They can cling to rock work well. I know because I literally thought something happened to mine and took out each piece of rock only to find once I got all the rock out he was still not in the tank. He was clinging to a rock in my 5 gal bucket. I trained mine to eat from a pipette. It took about 3 mths before he started to come out in the open to eat. They are very shy! Run first and ask questions never kind of fish. They will hunt and eat pods in the rock work mine did not seem to eat for the first 2-3 weeks but my pod population was decimated. I fed mine Cyclops and reef plankton to start. Good luck.

This past weekend I spotted a fish for the first time that I added in August. It's a tiny goby under 1" in a 400g tank.

A couple of months ago my Golden Pygmy angel photobombed a photo and I hadn't seen him in probably 8 or 9 months and that's a pretty good sized fish.

So to answer you question, sometimes you can wait awhile till a fish appears :)

I just pulled out a blue reef chromis from my tank and now some gobies and wrasses are now coming out . I was told they were peaceful but they are part of the damsel family and intimidate smaller fishes I would recommend removing the chromis and see what happens.

I put a small stop light cardinal in my tank, and never sen it again for about 6 months, then one morning, there it was.

I found a flasher wrasse I thought had jumped after 7 months....in my overflow... Fat and almost happy, lol eating all the pellets that got swept into the overflow...

I had a green clown goby a bout 1" long that I didn't see for almost 8 weeks before I spotted him, Had a Yasha's goby that disappeared for almost a month.

Not the only one!

I added a diamond head goby last week and he has been MIA since about two hours after releasing him. I figured he is a goner but I have hope he is just hiding.
