Title says it all, I'm just wondering how long it takes everyone to feed their fish, and how long you leave the food in the tank?

I have three fish, and reading about each one tells me to feed a decent meal every 2-3 days, but not how long it takes them to eat. I usually put the food, mysis, bits of shrimp, squid, scallop, clam, krill, it varies in and sit on the couch and watch. My eel eats right away no problem from tongs, but Lionfish and Marine betta rarely(never in the case of the betta) eat in front of me so I end up leaving the chunky foods in the tank overnight and it's usually gone by morning.

Partly because they're more active at night, partly because of my work schedule I feed at night under blue lights turned low.

I feed my fish twice per day, once with a variety of pellets and once with brine & mysis. During feeding, the fish swim around very fast and gobble up the food. They usually eat it all up in a few minutes. Rather than one big meal every few days, I prefer smaller meals more often. Feeding Nori is different. I put it on the clip and they eat it But it takes hours before they can finish it.
