How long should I expect my new Anthias to hide?

I have recently purchased 6 Anthias. 3 Disbar and 3 Lyretail. The Disbars were purchased online and ended up being very small. Maybe 1 1/4" in size. The Lyrretails are much bigger and fatter.
They all spend most of the day and night hiding. I can see the Lyretails hiding and have caught a small glimpse of one of the Disbars in the rock. How long should I expect this behavior to continue>

It shouldn't continue long. They are more outgoing with higher flow and frequent feedings of small meaty foods such as cyclopeeze or reef plankton.

How long did they end up hiding? My new barlett is staying by the overflow box at the very top essentially vertically - was doing fine in the QT.... ??

Give them time let them get used to the aquarium and to the fish that are there

How long has the bartlett been in the dt? Bartletts are usually pretty quick to behave normally in a tank.

Give him a day or two. An hr before lights out and then the morning isn't long.

Yep . thanks. I am thinking the same - hasn't had long especially as the morning lights come on at 6 and move up to about 10 when the main lights come on so hoping 'daylight' setting will help over that 6 hours before the 'sunset' dimmer tones down over about 5 hours tonight....
