How long should I hold out hope?

Alright here is the report from the guy who serviced the tank. No obvious signs of fish disease. Their Hanna checkers produced different results than mine, but showed slightly elevated levels of nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia. The suspicion is that with the refugium light out there was excess protein, which caused one death, which resulted in more deaths. I was told the aquarium needed to be cycled again before inhabitants (which was my plan anyway, make dang sure it’s stable). They added a phosphate pad (looked like a filter pad to me but different). They also added something called salt to the display as well as prime. Already my sail fin tang is showing much improvement.
