how long should i keep cuprisorb in for??

Hi guys. I found out that my WC pump was rusted so I assumed that I had heavy metals in my tank and got some cuprisorb. I put it in a bag and its been in my back chamber for about 25 days now. The resin is still white so its not depleted and I dont have any means of testing for copper or other heavy metals. So, should I remove it now?

I know keeping it in for a long time is bad because it will suck out all the trace metals in the water which the corals need.

It can also leech what it absorbed back to the tank
If at least 2 weeks
Do you have an LFS that can test copper for you?
Many place copper in their tanks and I would hope they use test kits

According to Seachem it does not leech whatever it has absorbed. I am not sure if my LFS do that but i will ask. But since im doing my bi-monthly WC tomorrow, I want to know if i should remove it, for now at least since I dont want all the trace metals to get absorbed after the WC.

I understand seachem states that but my concern is that it is bonded to the media.
I find it hard that the resin is going to absorb it and hold it always with no leaching ?
