How long should i keep the uv on this tank?

So I have been dealing with a small dino outbreak in my 20g reef. A week after adding uv there are no signs of it at all. However, in my 10g I also contracted dino (moved a coral into this tank from my 20 before I knew it was dino) how long should I keep the uv on my 20g before moving it to my 10g? This is the first day there are no signs of dino so I assume it cant be 100% gone. I can't get another uv sterilizer at the moment so I have to just move the one from my 20 to my 10

I agree they may not be totally gone. If the 10 isn’t an emergency I would leave it a bit longer. Maybe another week and do a water change. Wait a few days after the change and test No3 and Po4 just to be sure you aren’t bottomed out. If everything looks good I would leave it hooked up and turn off the bulb. Everything still looks good after a day or so, should be good.

2nd pic is my 10g. After 2 doses of dino x the dino has absolutely exploded. There was just a small amount but after 4 days of treatment boom

Water changes tend to make dinos worse. I advise against it. After the dino competition is established let it grow out a little. This will create a trace element limit, many think it is Fe, in which the dinos start to lose the competition battle. Inorganic sources of nutrients are also better for the competition compared to organic sources through feeding more. Products like Dino X have very mixed results and usually they come back if it does work if the nutrients aren't raised.

Should I discontinue the use of dinox? I bought another steralizer today as well

If it is making it noticeably worse off the bat, then I would stop. If UV is working then I recommend continuing it while dosing nutrients and testing daily if time permits.
