How long time fix bloom tank

I made a new tub It is currently a month old. I used salt that contains bacteria and also added bacteria. How long will it take for this annoying cloud to disappear?

Are you using a filter on your system?
The clouding can be taken care of with a cheap UV if its bacterial.

I've had two of these on my new tank so far. Both times it started like yours and I hit up this forum. The culprits came down to algae bloom, bacterial bloom,, sand storm, toxin/spawn of some sort. Since I had no live stock #4 was ruled out. I thought bacterial due to the age of the tank and let it run. It eventually got soupier and soupier to the point where the whitish cloud became a greenish cloud and my front glass looked like it had been smeared in vaseline. It also got to where I could not see the back of the tank. I decided there was not much to lose with a blackout and shut off the lights for 3 days. By the end of day 2 noticeably clearer water and my skimmer was pulling a lot of gunk. Day 3 turned on the light s and skimmer kept working and water became the clearest water. Just like day 1 water. Second time I did not let it get so bad and after just 1 day i could see improvement. I still went 3 full days. Cleared it up again. So far no repeat. I will assume you have ruled out the last culprit which is wave maker kicking up sand bed.

Short version - bacterial will clear up on its own (usually), algal bloom will clear up with lights out (usually), sand storm that on you to check wave maker, and if it is something spawning or killing then it will clear with mechanical and biological filtration and unless it is a massive spawn or toxin it will go away in a few days.
