Hi guys, I got a new Tonga Bushy Acro. Its polyps have not come out much since introduced on Saturday. Just wondering what how long I should wait before moving. Also, and I dont know if this is related. By Hammer is not as bushy the last couple of days as it has been. The only thing I can think of is it did have a bit of left over scallop in it that I found today that the shrimp must have dropped.

Parameters are as follows and have not changed for the last 3 weeks.

Ammonia -0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate 5 - 10
PH - 8.3
Phosphate 0.1 - 0.25
Calcium - 450
Alk - 8.3
Mag - 1260

I wouldn’t consider moving it just because the polyps aren’t out. Some acros just don’t have much PE. Especially if it’s a wild piece - in the wild acros will typically only have PE at night. It’s placement looks fine.

Assuming its LA divers den?

By chance did you take down the species name when ordering?
Some of their “bushy” acroporas will have have more than others. As they use the term for over a dozen different species.
