How long to run a recirculating pump in CaRx

I've been continuously running the recirculating pump in my Calcium reactor and I was wondering if anyone ran theirs on a periodic frequency. For example, what would be the effect of the recirculating pump were only run 10 mins an hour?

I wouldn't turn it off. The recirculation pump is what incorporates the CO2 into the reactor and distributes it throughout the media. I would assume you would get inconsistent and inefficient output from the reactor if you shut off the recirc pump.
