How long to wait before adding corals to tank

I'm just curious to know how long people waited to add corals to there tank after cycling?
Rule of thumb is a year but I'm curious to see how many people really waited that long. Granted in this hobby patience is key

I had softies in my tank after a month. 4 months in and I have a solid mixed reef that I'm throwing money at.

Like 3 months or less for softy’s. And some harder lps. I wait till those do well before adding sps

If you have a lite bioload you can add once tank is stable

If u can support the growth of corraline algae than u can support coral growth.

Hardy corals right after cycle. More sensitive stuff after the tank has been up a few months. Acros need at least 6 months, longer the better.
