Based on their size how long do you estimate until they are parents?

They've both grown about .5 inches since this picture. I'm feeding mysis and brine daily. The offspring of these clowns are the ones that I'm going to be giving away.

Honestly, there is really no way to say for certain.

I have had clowns that took up to 2 years to start spawning, and others that took about 4 months (( both were roughly the same size when purchased, and roughly fed the same amount )).

Each pair is going to be different -- I have had spawning pairs stop for 6 months after a move, and another pair that started back up a week later (( granted that pair would continue to lay eggs while I was doing a water change )).

It is impossible to know when. I have had a pair for 5 years and i got nothing lol. They must feel comfortable and well fed. they also like laying eggs on flat areas

Looking good. looks like you have a ways to go before you get a spawn from that pair according to size.. getting them to breed is the easy part ,but actually hatching and raising the fry is another story , kinda hard to think of you giving these away when it takes a good amount of money to even raise one single batch, Im sure once you raise the first 50 or so you'll change your mind!Kuddos if you do though and good luck with your project looking foward to your updates on these two in the future!!!
