hi ,this is a no/yes question,just my opinion,no 20-24 hrs max ,protective slime ,poop, will kill itself even pushing it at approx 20,
can be done very difficult ,1 cannot keep in same vessel,prot slime will kill each other ,would have to keep all seperate,temperate,have enough temp new water to change each every day ,and still no sure thing,sorry would advise not,just my opinion,many more will follow ,as i will also,guessing majority will agree but 12-16 hour changes,happy reefing

You can't just put it in a bag and leave it for 4 days, it'll run out of oxygen. I spend all of my holidays visiting family in Tampa, which has about 5,000 more fish stores per capita than where I live. So I always bring down a frag/holding tank when I'm there.
I have a plastic container that's a couple of gallons, one of those $6 80gph pumps, a the cheap Aqueon heater, and then a PAR38 bulb. Then when I'm down there I pick up a jug of saltwater from the LFS and set everything up. I've been running this setup for a couple of years now and had everything from softies to SPS and never lost anything. The light is definitely overkill, corals will probably be fine without light for a while, but it lets me enjoy the stuff I picked up on Monday throughout the week until we go home on Saturday.
