How long will live pods last?

I got an order of live pods yesterday and I was going to put them in the tank at school yesterday but my dog died suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday so now I plan to go over tomorrow but I’m honestly not sure if I’ll get over tomorrow! I opened the cap to the container and they are at room temperature. I’m going to assume they’ll be good for a few days.
