how long without fish

hi there so i lost all my fish to ( i think ) marina velvet total of 9 fish but all the coral , shrimp , starfish all doing great my question is how long should i leave the tank before its safe to add new fish ? and should i remove the shrimp and star fish ???

I would leave it fallow 8 weeks just to be safe, but you should be good after 6. Just make sure you feed your inverts. You can be quarantining some new fish while it goes fallow.

Ive heard 54 days or ~7-8 weeks.

The inverts will be fine as long as they are fed.
