I'm water testing a 60g cube my brother had that he never setup. How long should I water test for should I wiggle it,punch it or kick it a little..lol?

If it is full for a few hours and none of the seams are leaking (and the glass is not bowing); you are good to go. Set that bad boy up.

For leaks. To see if it won't blowout with all that water!..lol
Ohh you made me laugh i love it!
I would fill it, shake it, well maybe not kick it but i bet it is just fine on a solid built stand.
You know how i sprung a leak in my 46.. a stand that was not stable and me always leaning a 5 gallon bucket on the rim. Oops.. broke a bottom seal.

I'm glad I could make a fellow refFer laugh in exchange for advise..lol. yeah i wiggled it pretty hard. It's a mainland 60g and my brother removed the top rim. That's got me a little nervous. But this is the first step I'm taking towards setting it up!!

You can add a center glass brace and silicon that in. I had a 60 that was 4 feet long and a glass brace kept it together for years. Without the brace, the tank bowed badly. The last thing you want is a flood.

I wasn't sure if the rimless was bad but I deff don't want to set it up without a rim or brace up top. Is there anywhere one could buy a replacement rim? Yeah I don't want 60g on my floor. 3 gallons was a bad enough a few days ago.

I have a new 240 made by Planet Aquariums set up a couple weeks ago. I noticed a couple days ago the right (non starfire) side has a bow. It's flush at the top, and maybe 1/16th to 1/8th" past the front glass. Tank is cycling, no fish yet. Should I be concerned?

I would call the manufacture about it. All glass will bow some under the weight of water but if you can see it I would be concerned.
