how long

i recently (about a week now) acquired some rasta zoas. They were awesome in the LFS but refuse to fully open now and some polyps haven't opened at all. Water parameters are good salinity is 1.025 and all the other zoas around them are opening fully. How long does it take some to acclimate to a new enviorment before they start to fully open?

Mine only take a day or so if that. When you say your parameters are good what are they exactly?

Sometimes it can take a while depending on how drastic the change !

More than likely in due to stress and change as stated above by oscar47f Try to move in less PAR but if that doesn't work after 2-3 days, try to dip them in ( Brightwell Aquatics Medicoral or Coral Rx )if you have or can get some.

So it can take a while depending on how drastic the change is from the store to you... they won’t start growing for a little while in terms of exploding in growth

i had a bout 7 open yesterday so i guess its just time.....ammonia is 0 nitrates 0 nitrites about 8 salinity 1.024 calcium 420 water temp is 78
