How often do you need to clean your glass on your tank and do you clean your sump the sand that gets down inside

Every couple days for cleaning the glass. I never had sand get into my sump so I cannot answer that one.

Weekly for both. But I don't get sand in my sump, just detritus. It gets sucked out during the weekly 10% water change.

If your sump space allows, a tiny powerhead down there can be effective.

no sump dont need to clean that.

Don’t have a sump but when I did I never cleaned it. I scrape my glass once or twice a week
