First of all thank you in advance for taking your time to help me out. Now on to business.
I am upgrading one my tanks. It's a standard reef ready 55 48"[emoji777]12" [emoji777]21" deep. Set up as mixed reef. Tank up 10 years but my 2 AI Hydra 26's on about 1 1/2 years. There dialed in perfect. Love 'em
Now I'm transferring whole setup to a rimless DSA 105 Pro
48"[emoji777]24"[emoji777]21" deep. Now here's the question.
Can I continue with just the 2 or should I add 1 or even 2 more to bring it to a total of 4?
I have the 2 I've been using and 2 brand new ones still in the box. Any thoughts or ideas?
Oh yeah almost left out some info. There set up 6" above rim and hooked up to my apex controlled by my AI module so programming them would take no time to just copy existing program

I personally would do 4 but 3 might be enough depending on your goals. If you can stagger them a bit it would help with the depth of the tank

Thanks. I'll try 4 first. I was afraid of having to much light. I'm really bad setting up my lighting levels. I have terrible judgement when it comes to lighting. But since I I have them may as well use them. Because If I see these 2 brand new hydra's in the box doing nothing to long I'm going to want to start another tank. But then I'll probably end up divorced. Lol
So you not only helped with my tank you saved my marriage. Lol
