How many cap fulls of microb7 should i dose?

I have a 180 and trying to outcompete the bad bacteria.. how many cap fulls should I dose daily ?

What do you mean by bad bacteria? My experience with MB7 was fairly non-impactful. Didn't see a difference before dosing, during several weeks of dosing or after dosing. Carbon dosing I did see an impact but adding a general bacteria other than during start up I'm not convinced has a big impact.

I use rodi and have a uv sterilizer

How old is the tank? Diatoms don’t need beating, generally.

That's true. A little less than a year, I transfered everything over from my 90 which ran for 3 years

A pic would be good. I occasionally add silicates to promote diatoms, just for the hell of it and to add an extra food stuff. But I like messin with stuff that don’t need messin with

That is kind of the point. In a year old tank there is not enough silicates for diatoms
