gyres can move unbelievable amount of water for such small powerheads. I'd try one pair to see, and if u'r still not satisfied (or the corals) then can look to adding more. In my 93 cube, I can't set a pair of 230's higher than 30% or else water will spill over the tank.
Every tank is different but to give you an idea I am using 2 wave makers and a return pump for flow in my 29g biocube. I credit good flow ad a big part of my tanks health.
I do a 72” 180 with one overflow on the right-hand side. It’s a blue background and set up to have heavier rock structure on the overflow end and a more open water look toward the left end.
Because of that, I can’t have any pumps, returns, etc on the left end.
I’m running one Maxspect 280, positioned on the right-end panel and facing down the length of the tank. That thing pushes a ton of water. It dies down a little on that left end, so I snuck another pump behind the rocks toward that end just to keep the water in the lower left corner moving back toward the overflow. If I didn’t have the rock/coral structure I have, there would still be a lot flow at that end...but a lot of it gets blocked.
Some SPS in the tank, positioned in the heavier flows. Lower flow corals in the bottom half of the tank from the middle —> left. But even they get blown around a bit.
