Next to tangs, dwarf angels are my favorites! I have a a flame angel and am itching to get another dwarf.
How many folks have multiple dwarfs that coexist fairly peacefully with one another?

Any recommendations?
I really want a Potters angel but am also looking at a Eibli or a Flameback.

Years ago I kept two together peacefully so I think it's doable.

It will really be up to the individual fish and is a toss up. I got lucky twice, once with 2 potters, once with one potter and one flame. Suggest to have a plan b, if things don’t work out, tank separator and fish trap.

A Potter and a Flame, that's the combo I really want!!!
Thanks for the input

Yhea I think I got lucky with them they all hang out together. I would like to add a potter's or a gold flake but I'm worried i would be pushing my luck

Always been too skittish about dwarfs, not with each other but with corals, seems it’s hit or miss.

Depends on the aquarium size as much as the individual specimens. I once did maintenance on a 180 gallon fowlr that had a harem of flames. They were all introduced at the same time and had plenty of hiding places. Mixing a Potters with an established flame angel is a risky proposition (provided you don't have a 350 gal). As long as you know that going in it'll be cool if it works out.

I took a chance and introduced three (flame, coral beauty, and flameback) all at the same time by floating each bag (left, center, right) and then post-drip acclimating, they were released in different parts (left, center and right) in my 125G and they were all fine. but i think it's up to the individual fishes/personalities.

My favorite pair of angels were a flame and a coral beauty. I was successful two out of two times with them getting along. I guess I was naive as I just assumed they would get along as they were such different colors. I was lucky or this pairing works.
