How many fish do you keep in what size tank?

I have 10 fish in my 75 gallon with no nutrient problems and barely any aggression

-2 clarki clowns
-1 longnose hawk
-1 radiant wrasse
-1 leopard wrasse
-1 bluethroat trigger
-1 onespot foxface
-1 chalk bass
-1 bangaii cardinal
-1 springeri damselfish

Not reccomending something like this as the clarkii and foxface can eventually take up too much space as time goes on :)

Thanks for sharing. Is it a reef or a FOWLR? I’ve seen triggers in reef tanks, but I imagine it’s not super common.

I have it in a mixed reef. The blue throat is widely considered the most reef safe trigger. I don't have any shrimps but it doesn't bother snails or urchins. The only problem I do have with it is that it goes out of its way to rip corals when I am target feeding reef roids

My next question was going to be about the Longnose hawk. I also have a Longnose hawk, but I’m pretty sure he ate one of my shrimp, so he went into my FOWLR. But I see you don’t have shrimp, so he probably isn’t a problem in your reef. He’s one of my favorites. A lot of personality. I also have a one spot fox, and he’s a great fish as well. I love their tail wiggle when they swim. Haha

My reef is a 70g rimless

black storm clown
Black ice clown
White tail tang
One spot foxface
Pink streak wrasse
Gem tang

All seem to be happy.

In my 70 gallon
2 maroon clowns
2 firefish gobies
Engineer goby
Mandarin dragonet
Marine Betta
Dwarf fuzzy lionfish
Foxface (when shes bigger shes going in my 125)
4 chromis
1 damsel
Watchmen goby

125:
4 tangs
Saddleback butterfly fish
Niger trigger
2 clownfish
Soon to add clown trigger

Both are reef tanks. I cant put shrimp or crabs (other than hermits) in my 125, my trigger Grunt eats them!

Three fish in a standard 29 gallon tank.

Adult pair of percula clowns and a sixline wrasse.

If I didn't have the sixline I would have a basselet of some kind or a small goby.

Mine does not, neither does my lion. I have a pistol and coral banded right now. I lose my blood shrimp and cleaner shrimp in a heater malfunction, but no neither one so much looked at a shrimp. Nala my lion even hung out upside down next to my cleaner shrimp before he passed

That’s awesome. I think lions are super cool. I haven’t gotten one, since I have inverts that I was afraid it would eat.

Yeah I was too! She was supposed to go in my 125 with my tangs and trigger but I needed to wait to put her in there so she was in a breeder box in my 70 and broke free same with my marine betta. I cant get the betta out without tearing my rocks apart! I probably could get the lion but shes super chill. Although I had a clown goby I havnt seen since the second day. I think it may have been eaten as it was very tiny, they leave my small damsel and small black and gold chromi alone. Decided to not put my dottyback in that tank since shes so tiny just in case.

I did use to have cleaner shrimp with longnose hawkfishes but it didnt bother them. I've read that its only if its small enough to fit in their mouth
