How many fish for a 125gal tank?!

Hey all. I know this question comes up often, and it depends on the type of fish and temperament, but I would appreciate some input. I would like to get a few more fish for the tank, I feel that it looks on the more empty side because a lot of fish hang out towards the bottom and wouldn't mind some more swimmers. I have a 125gal long tank. My current residents include

2 clown fish
2 purple fire fish
1 melanurus wrasse
1 leopard wrasse
1 Midas Benny
1 pink spotted watchmen goby
1 sunburst anthias
1 marine betta

The last fish I am going to get is a tang either a purple tang or desjardini salfin tang, already set on a tang ha. So I was thinking of a couple more anthias maybe 3 but not sue if I have the space. Any input on a few more fish that would work? Would you say my max amount should be around 15 fish? More? Less? I have a mixed reef also. Thanks everyone!

I have 2 clowns, Royal gamma, 6 line wrasse, manderin, 5 blue green chromis, kole tang, yellow tang and a powder brown tang in my 6ft 125. They all do good together and always swimming around.

You can definitely add more. Anthias are great for adding color and activity in the upper third. I recommend dispar, ignitus or randalls.

Thanks Eat. I am definitely thinking along the lines of additional anthias. I think a small group of these colorful fish will add nicely. Hopefully theres no aggression between the current sunburst.

I wouldn't worry about the sunburst, they pretty much keep to themselves.

is there a minimum number for these species of anthias. Will 3 be fine or do i need more?

Three should be ok, but they loom better, and display more interesting behavior with. Five or more.

When mixing species, of anthias should you say do 3 of one and 3 of another? Or just stick with one species for 5 or more? Can you have 1 male of each species?

You can do 2 different species of 3 and have one male each, as long as the species are of similar aggression. Squamipinnis and bartletts do well together, as does the combo of dispar and randalls.

Lyretails will work, but are feisty for anthias so it may limit adding other anthias in the future.

Those and a tang will pretty much limit me out as far as fish go. Thanks for all the help Eat.

I would say a 15 fish maximum but it depends on your bio load capability
