Wondering how many fish in a small 10 a gallon tank

Most people say 2 max, but I've done 4 with weekly water changes and no problem.
Clownfish
Bicolor blenny
Flasher wrasse
Blue chromis

I have 3 right now pair of clownfish and royal gamma basslet.

What about five with protein skimmer and reactor. What kind should I add.

Personally I have no idea since I have never did five, but I have 4 without a protein skimmer. 4 is really on the limit of what you could do, it's not about ammonia and nitrites, but more about space.

And I would say go with a blenny, they add so much personality. I like bicolor and starry blennies.

A yellow watchman gobie might be cool. I've never had one but I like the look.

I do have a serpent starfish that gets stuff off the sand, if there's any left over food he will find it

How long have you had the clowns? A pair is going to claim way more space than a single and needs to be kept in mind. If it were me I'd add something else but the down the road thinking side says you could be asking for trouble.
