How many fish to a newly cycled 100G

Hi guys, it’s time to add fish. How many should I add to a newly cycled tank?

At a minimum I wanted to add a pair of clowns. And then if I could do 3 I would add a small wrasse.

Two or three fish should be OK assuming they are not large. Then wait a few weeks before adding your next fish.

The order in which you add fish is important, starting with the least aggressive and working your way up the aggression scale. If the clowns are larger than juvenile, they can become territorial very quickly and harass newly introduced fish. Mine didn't but it is a common concern in the hobby. In 100G though, clowns should be OK to add early IMO.

Just don’t add anything you don’t want long-term. I did that on my first 3 tanks I setup this year.........

I agree, definitely walk, don't run!

You should be ok as long as they are young. Also ScottB's advice " starting with the least aggressive" is very sound.

I start with 1-2 and watch for a month. Hardy fish is what you want to look at. You don't want to add any mandarins or fish with a restrictive diet at this stage. I personally would not add any wrasses at this time. A pair of baby clown is not a bad idea.
