As you can see, I am just filling up the tank with ro water and it is over 2/3 full I would guess. I have had people say you must put a support post under the tank to the floor but they do not understand how it hangs on the surrounding wall by the steel support frame. All the walls and support frame would have to come down and all the joists and beam underneath would have to collapse. Support beam underneath was also reinforced. We shall see I guess. Here is a better look at how it is attached to the wall.
Good point. I made sure the top and frame were perfectly level. So far everything is level.Even without proper support under a wood-framed floor it is unlikely you would have a floor collapse. What IS likely is deflection in the joists (sagging) that results in your tank not being level. If a large tank is not level it can put uneven pressure on the seams or create torsion. Over time this can make the tank fail. Most likely this would start as leaking at a seam, because the silicone joints are weaker than the glass panels.
