How many hours do you leave your lights on?

I was told to start with the blue for the first 2 hours then go to full spectrum for 8 then end with blue for 2 more each day.
How do you run your lights?

I run a 6 bulb t5 fixture, the two channel I run for 11 hours and the four bulb I run for 9 hours a day.

12hrs, I run the WWC schedule. It's climb to full spectrum in the first hour. 5 hrs of full, drop to blues for another 5 hrs then slowly to off in the last hr.

12hrs of daylight with gradual progression in the morning and descending in the evening for 90 min on either end. Max peak is at 60% for now. Light seems a bit intense for new fish so we're still acclimating them to 90% peak. Then 2.5 hrs of moonlight with a short peak at 70%. Using RedSea 90 lights.

I run for 8 hours a day in full blues. I don’t go any longer to avoid nuisance algae.
