Just started a 40 gal. breeder up and now cycling. I am wanting to put Jaebo SOW-4 wavemakers on it but don't know if I need 1 or 2 of them. I'll be keeping 4 small fish with some maxi mini anemones and a toadstool with 1-2 lps. I have a Rio 2100 aqua return pump on it now pushing 350-400 gph. I don't have any experience with wavemakers as all I ever used in the past were hydor koralia 550 gph in my other 40 breeder reef. So will I need 1 or 2 Jaebao?

I would go with 2 of those wave makers and set both of them to their lowest setting first. Then adjust the power until you feel comfortable for your inhabitants. These are on the smaller side so it shouldn't be an issues controlling the speed and flow.
