I'd like to try using Kessils for the pre-programmed simplicity, shimmer, and deep blues. Do you recommend 1 a360we, 2 a80, or 2 a160 for an Innovative Marine 25 AIO? Since the tank is small, I want to keep some of the more resilient corals- zoa dominated with shrooms, favias, chalices, euphyllia, etc. - and rely on water changes + possibly kalkwasser. I may end up putting in a monti or two but I don't envision adding any of the harder to keep pieces like acros.

I would go with the 360 given the tank size and options. Always best to get more light than you need so you can put acros down the road if you so choose.

Do you mean the lagoon tank? If so, I ran one for a couple of years with just a single 160 and it was more than enough for softies and LPS. I could grow SPS under the light but not on the periphery. Trouble with the 360 on a tank like that is the light spill is excessive.

Just my two cents - I went with the Hydra 26 HD on my IM 25. So far, I don't have any complaints. Easily controlled from your phone or your home laptop. Customization is endless and my corals seem to be enjoying the new and improved lighting.

Buy the new 360x, it's meant to be mounted lower, especially with the new lens (i think it's 130° or 120°) and would cover what you want to keep.
