how many leds to use on my 29g bio cube

i need the opinions of you guys. how many leds should i use on my biocube? will 24 be too many? im going the use the cree leds.

Don't think 24 is too many, what are you going to keep in the cube? I just put 48 cree leds over my 46 gallon mixed reef. Are you planning on optics?

i was told i dont have to use optics. im going to keep mostly zoas but some lps and sps

Might be a little overkill IMO. But get a dimable driver and you can adjust accordingly.. I'm gonna use 96 over my 5ft long tank if that helps...evilc66 suggested 150 but o just don't got that kind of cash rite now or any time soon...
