How many LFS are in your area

I live in Manassas Virginia and have three stores within 5 miles of me not counting the the 2 Petco's. this is a very populated area so I guess I'm pretty lucky.

I live about 2 minutes away from Louisville Kentucky and we have maybe 3 decent stores in the area

There is only one in my area of Tri-Cities, WA! I am very frustrated in regards to this because they don't know what they are doing! I spent a lot of money to set my 65gal up! I have e-mailed tons of stores and heard nothing back! I spent 300$ on a skimmer, I was told this morning by a staff member that it's not very good and I got ripped off! I'm really not trying to
Be a whiner, when you spend thousands of dollars you expect that your being taken care of in the highest form... Here is a pic

I've found myself doing a lot more DIY than I had planned as well haha. The only bummer is shipping on livestock and coral is crazy high.

I order online for everything. I have never been to the LFS in question that's about an hour away. Not because I think it's not worth it, I just never drive that far.

At least there's a huge selection online. I got livestock online one time with a 50-50 result half of what I got didn't make it the other half is doing great. I do order all my equipment online

2 dedicated sw only and 3 pet stores that sell. BlueStar Aquatics and Aquatica get my money but the pet stores are good because of a few different things they carry plus open Monday.

Yes I think we all know of vivid aquariums. They have some really nice pieces. I get all my livestock at the LFS now. Tank looks nice.

Yea florida is abundant with local fish stores down here in fort lauderdale i didnt even name the pet stores in miami havent been to too many down there.

I have 1 in Bloomington, IN about 15 min away just a petco nothing special unless I drive an hr or so

Yeah I have probably around 10 LFS within a 20 mile radius. It seems like Florida and maybe California are the hotspots for refers to live.

The two closest to me are just over an hour away in either direction. They are independent shops, can't say about the number of petco stores, i don't shop there.

Exactly im not even naming petcos etc. i rather go to a private owned lfs more selections better prices etc.
