So realistically on a sps dominant tank. 72x36x24. Howany radions would be needed to cover it well? I currently run a ati 8x80 led powermodule with 2 reefbrites and it's just to intense. The par is off the charts and simply cannot put coral in the top half of the tank. I've had radions before but not on this size tank. Any recommendations would be appreciated

I would recommend at least five XR30 G4 with the dimensions you have mentioned. If you do the G5 four XR30 should give you plenty to convert the entire footprint well..

I can tell you this the spread on the G5 XR30 is absolutely amazing and you will not have to worry about the spread as it will definitely cover your 72”x36”x24” and to add you can maybe in future use the AquaticLife hibrid fixture with T5

Check out the video that BRS recently did few days ago and it will give you a better idea of what you are looking at..

I have a similar issue. I have a 48x36x25 new tank that I am building and I don't know how many lights I should get. I am thinking only two AI 64 or two 5G Pro. For sure I don't have the money to buy a 3rd one.

Two G5 PRO XR30 OR BLUE whatever you like to see in your tank would be good but I would recommend maybe three and mount them perpendicularly to each other and use the BRS guide as it is very helpful.
