how many mandarins in a 180 reef?

how big is your tank? I have a female spotted mandarin right now and a male green mandarin in my 180 reef... so far they have not even bumped into each other. I will remove the green spotted female and keep my 20 gallon hospital tank as soon as I can catch him tho... I actually love the green spotted mandarins BUT in a 180 they are to tiny? I need a bigger fish.

How did you maintain an astronomical pod population? Culture pods? What type? How often?

I simply had a 100 gallon fuge filled with about 350 lbs of rock. The display was 300g with about 250 lbs of rock, and two 40 gallon frag tanks with no fish. So lots of places to grow and breed. I also cloud fed my tank so all foods were plentiful.

pics ? thats epic

The mandarin swim freely about the sand and rocks looking for pods. The dragonets are smaller and tend to stay in the rocks and are harder to capture on film.

This is in my 40 gal breeder. All theee of my Dragonets eat pellets. They did not at first but eatting them with gusto now. I used to think this, dragonets eating pellets, is baloney but this trio change my mine on the subject.
