Currently in my 20gal cube tank I have 2 clownfish, a diamond watchman goby, a cleaner shrimp, and some hermits and snails (also a Duncan coral). How many more fish can I fit in there without having it be cramped for the fish?

IMO none. If you have the bioload light you’ll fight less algae and end up with less problems. I overloaded my tank and am constantly battling it. It’s not worth it. Clowns do a great job for entertainment or at least mine do and the goby will prove interesting. Just my opinion though

How long has the tank been up? Older tanks 3+ years will have an easier time with higher bioload. Even then 1 small peaceful fish would be the max. And would be dependent on your tanks nutrient export as well as the temperament of your clown pair. Would not be outside the realm of possibility that they would harass any new fish in that footprint.

Personally i wouldn’t add another fish.
