How many nerite snails for a 90 gallon? I was thinking 30?
What about nassarius snails? Maybe 20-30. I do have a deep sand bed

Personally I’m no fan of fixed numbers like snails per gallon as a lot of it depends on available algae types and each snail species has their own niche ...Nerites often like to sleep above the water line and often if you have too many you’ll find a few going over the top and dried up behind the tank or starved... heck my 150 and 210 might have 10 each ... also be advised as some hermits love to kill them, otherwise I’m pretty sure they are reasonably long lived ... I’d start off with 15 and see how that goes
