How many Orpheks?

I have a 31" long by 13" aquarium that I am setting up anew when we move house and looking to upgrade my lighting. I've decided on Orpheks but I am unsure whether I should go for one Atlantik or two Compact. Given the recommended high mounting height I wonder if one Atlantik is enough, though I like the idea of two so I can make sure I have a even blanket of light up to the edges (I am okay with some light spill!)

Two. Compacts would be ideal OR 2-3 OR3 light bars

Thanks for your input! One question, wouldn't the bars be kinda the same as a single Atlantik, given the lengths of both at 60 cm? Thanks!

You can program/dimm the atlantic , the bars you can’t

Rumor is, they're working on a dimmer module for these.

It'd make them a very good option.

Ooh that would be nice. But would the gateway work with existing bars? I’d assume not unless you need to buy a dongle.

I don’t see how as they’re not programmable. A dimmer I believe is in the works

That’s what I was thinking. But it makes me wonder if the future bars will have the same capabilities as the V4s and compacts. Would love all of mine to work in unison.

Not sure about capabilities but 5wt bulbs - yes
