Coincidentally I just counted for the same question on another forum. Some are repeats but the total outlets of my 210 (390G total) with remote tank room is 38. Nine are for the DIY LED drivers and fans. This is down from the 54 from when it was a 500G system four years ago

125g DT / 160g system with large fuge

24 outlets total, and as long winded as I am............. not going to list everything that is plugged in.........lol

3 for my 12g nano. Power head, lights and pump. This post makes me glad I have a nano!

It's to tangled, I can't tell. And I'm an electrician

150g tank
Dj switch with 8 outlets-
1waveline 12000 return pump
1avast ato
1aqualifter pump for my ato
1 swc skimmer
1 wp25 ph
1 moonlights
1 pump for biopellets reactor
And attached to my Dj is another power strip for my lights which has 2 timers, each with 2 soon to be 4 cords on each (so really an extra eight on this, which will be moved to the other Dj switch on wed. when the rest of lights get hooked up) which is on the other plug on the same outlet
13 amps when run at full power for everything...normally 9 amps

It's not just outlets and cord manangement, it's vacuum hose management, old boiler temperature guage tube, ozonizer hoses, totally un-needed preasure guages, Skimmer overflow tubes, overflow safety switch for skimmer bucket, antique telephone cord, timers and some outlets, about 1/3rd are shown here. I am not sure where some of the outlets are as I installed many of them with the help of Columbus.

I don’t have a straight-forward answer because I have outlets plugged into DC-8”s….as an example, I have eight outlets to power lights that take up four spots on a DC8.

I have two DC8’s with a total of 15 outlets being used (one outlet is dead), a two plug extension outlet, a regular power strip using two outlets and a two plug outlet that is controlled by a float switch for the skimmate locker.

And this is for a 90 DT with a 40 sump.

I have never counted. I do make sure some thing are on seperate circuits though in case a breaker pops So I use at least 2 circuits even on small tanks that 1 circuit can easily handle. For example I have wavemakers on seperate circuits even on my small tank just to have water movement in case one breaker pops. Same with heaters (even on small tanks I use 2 undersized heaters).

A lot of cables, however they're all tied off, labeled, and ziptied.

>It's important to try (Yes I know this is not always possible) and get the Chiller / Heater on their own circuit. I've popped a fuse more than a few times with a 800 watt heater, and a 1 HP chiller unit.
>I learned the hard way and almost started a fire due to a tank-leak in the office. Ever since then I've made certain to tape off unused outlets, and keep my electrical as far away from the tank as possible.
>Older surge-protectors that are hot should be replaced.

1 reef flow dart return pump
1 iwaki pump powers reactors
1 ehiem small 70g frag tank return
