i counted 37 polyps on mine. although i'm sure they dont look near as good as marv's.

I don't have any now, but I have several frags from different people. I have to say the single polyp I received from Wayne was the BEST one of them all. It kept it's deep purple coloration and grew the fastest. Not sure why, but it was awesome!

I got a polyp from Marvin about 6 wks ago. I now see a baby & I think I see anyther baby bump! I hope it takes off from here.
I have traded about 40 or more, but I have to date a frag that has 6, a frag that has 4, 5, 3, and 2. My main colony has about 12 and has slowed a bit in growth but at the same time I have slowed in hand feeding them as well. I had tremendous growth when I hand feed them everyday. Glad to hear that PD is growing good for you Bob.......
I've got some coming from Michigan this week. The first frag I got lived long enough to leave enough behind to start a new polyp once the original frag died (was glad I didn't throw the rock out). It was up to 5 polyps before the move, but didn't make it through the move.

i think its safe to say, if you hadn't traded all those PD's, you may in fact of had a colony of 75+ polyps by now!
i bet just about everyone on here has a PD strain that came through you! lol
i'm REALLY surprised no one else here has colonies as big as me and marv. i was expecting to see people with 50+ polyp colonies.
i feed my nukes mysis so PD's is the same....
I got carried away I think, I did the same thing with my Nukes as well......Not to mention the ones I traded locally, I didn't add them to the count. But what the hey I got good stuff in return as well. I am not touching my main colony any more I have other frags that I frag off now this way it will be left alone to grow.......I started to hand feed them again a few weeks ago and have seen results for it in about 4 new polyps.

Marvin, do you hand feed yours as well? I've made half hearted attempts to feed them, but mine seem to be growing well. Just curious.
not really... when I feed the tank, sometimes they catch food, sometimes they don't..
