How many snails should I get?

I have an Evo 13.5, so small. A little algae is just starting to appear and a light diatom outbreak is mostly over. Unfortunately, I see a circle of red cyanobacteria (I think) around one of my frags. I don't have fish yet. I don't want to starve the snails to death, so should I get something like 1 or 2 snails for now? Thanks in advance!

Some people will say 1-2 per gallon but I like 1-2 per pound of rock. I have 7 in my Evo 13.5 and only snails. I would reccomend 1 turbo 3 nassarius 3 trochus. That’s my 2 cents. I have 10 pounds of live sand and 10 pounds of live rock.
