How many wave makers do you use ?

Hey guys
Just curious I have a 20 gallon cube I have 1 Nero 3 I still seem to have dead spots in the back right corner of the tank should I add I smaller power head lower in the tank to circulate the dead spots or should I let me tank do it’s thing it’s 4 months old and I’m starting get red slime everywhere even in some high flow areas.

I’d add some more flow. Most corals appreciate at least moderate flow, and as long as you’re not blowing sand everywhere, it really is pretty hard to overdo it (save for directly blasting something like a scoly with flow).

What kind of pump would recommend? I have a jaebo-ow10 handy but I feel it would be too much with the Nero 3.

Hard to say. No real harm in trying the jebao and seeing how it goes. Worst case you take it out. I’m thinking a second Nero, but that’s expensive. Jebao makes a Nero knockoff called the SLW-10. That could work well.

Okay cool I try out the Jebao I gotta figure out a good position for it , I have the Nero on the right side glass blowing over the aquascape so I guess the Jebao could go on the left behind the scape on a low setting either gyre or pulse to see if that helps I’m just keeping LPS/softies so I don’t want crazy crazy flow
