Trying to keep my nitrates and phosphates low. I don’t really have any algae growing on the rocks, but I do have some on the circulation pumps and a little on the back wall. Algae also grows in places where to CUC can reach (the automatic fish feeder food guard).

Imo all tanks will always have some algae in one form or another. Unless its an invasive variety i wouldnt be concerned.

Depends on the type of algae. Generally speaking, though, some amount of algae is not just normal, but necessary and healthy.

Algae grows all over the place in the ocean, the only reason you don't see it very frequently is that it gets eaten rapidly. Your tank should be the same way. Algae should be ever present in your system, but ideally the most you should see is coralline algae and a light film on your glass. Everything else should be consumed by your CUC before it has a chance to get established.
