How much bow is too much?

As long as the seams look fine (no significant crazing/+white patches) then it's safe to use. Just be mindful when cleaning it since the bow makes it easier to scratch than a more flat surface in my experience.

Generally all mass produced acrylic tanks will bow to some degree since they're made with the bare minimum thickness in order to be more affordable to the end user (plus its a lot easier to work with thinner material).

If you ever plan on owning a larger acrylic tank then over building it will usually prevent/greatly reduce any bowing (less unsightly and usually easier to clean when the surface is flat as well)

The seams all look crystal, no crazing anywhere, i did sand and polish the tank but i doubt i remived much material as most we surface scratching

as a manufacture, we would build with 3/4" thick walls. 1/2" most likely would be fine.
