How much Calcium is too much i know they say to be around 440-460ish? But what would be a level where it would be too toxic...or would begin stressing my corals out?

The problem with too much calcium is that it plays a balancing act with your Alk. Your calcium being a little high isn't really a big deal but too high and it'll cause you to have low alk.

I think ideal Ca is 380 - 450. I don't dose for Ca as I use Calcium Reactors and dial them in for the Alk range I want and Ca seems to just fall into place. I rarely test for Ca but I test for Alk weekly and tweak the CR when it needs it.

Back when I dosed Ca and Alk they seemed to seesaw up and down around each other. The CR solved all that.

Changing the subject: I noticed that you are from Jasper. Whatever happened to Butterbean. I enjoyed watching it and then it just seemed to disappear.
