How much chaeto to start?

How do i know how much chaeto i should start with? I have a 75 gal, and was going to start a refugium. How do I know how much to start with? Can you get too much or too little?

IMO too little will take a long time to grow and you will likely grow lots of other types of algae with the light until the cheato grows more and too much will be expensive and potentially not fit in your refugium. I would say get a small or large handful, check it for pests and you should be good and it will grow quite quickly.
