Roughly $1000 for a Maxspect R5x300W LEDs over a 90 gal.

My electric bill is bundled with my rent so I have no idea how much it is, but my 85 yo landlord keeps complaining that I’m costing him a fortune so I’m guessing it’s a lot.

Wow wish you didn't ask that 2,550. on lights. I never thought about it.i just wanted the best and I hit Pay Pal. L.O.L. I really don't want to add up everything else..if I don't think about the price, its not real..L.O.L glad I don't have a husband anymore to answer to. Well my fish need the best, they depend on me..that's my story and I'm sticking to it

Atm with my 2ft $700aud for 1 light new tank 4ft 3 xr15s @700each x 3

Running cost cant put a number on it unless I run a metre from that power point but easier to not know these things
Defiantly!

Lol!

$65 on Aquaknight A029's for both my (small) tanks. Electric bill hovers around $150 a month but we do have an electric water heater. And if my wife asks, that's the reason our bill is so high

I put 2 K7 Pro 2's on a my LPS/softie tank about 1.5 years ago for about $500 all in. Everything is thriving. My initial plan was to add a couple of LED bars or T5 tubes, but there was never really a need to...

I'm not sure how they would fare on an acro/sps dominant tank by themselves, but the Noopsyche lights have a seriously high "bang for your buck" rating for a mixed reef in my book....

I put an 8X 54w programmable Sunpower T5 over my 90 to replace some older Rapid LED fixtures. I bought it used with a new set of bulbs for $500 + gas to drive 500 miles round trip to get it. Roughly $200 every 18 months for bulbs sucks, but no shadows, no disco effect, and crazy PAR potential make it worth it. I know it increases my electricity bill... 400+ watts vs. 144... but didn't notice it.

Too much I have 4 x mitras 7206s and 2 x 7204s over my reef. And there's a kessil a360x refugium light over the sump. I have no clue how much they cost me power wise, but doubt it's as much as my reeflo hammerhead return, and dolphin ampmaster closed loop pump.

I got $400 in lights over a 90 gallon.
$200 for used and rebuked metal halides. Cayman fixtures.
$200 in t5 strips with blue plus bulbs.
Cooling is easily handled by office fans . I have no access to a PAR meter. But my eyes say it’s intense.

I did my last lighting upgrade in 2 stages.

About $350. For an aquaticlife hybrid light fixture and extras to mount some kessil a360x. $897. About 4 months later For 2 a360x and wifi dongle. 75 gallon mixed.
